About Me

My name is Francisco Galan and my interest in photography started in the 90s when cameras didn't even have memory cards, rechargeable batteries or digital sensors, but simply 24 B&W 35 mm frames rolled into small aluminum cylinders. It sounds prehistoric now but the capabilities where very different back then!! Those were the good old days when I spent hours locked in the 'dark rooms' in college between rolls of film and trays of chemicals in a quest to realise and develop my creativity in photography.

I completed a two year course in Graphic Design and Visual Communications where the photography module played a major part. That experience gave me a solid foundation in photography in conjunction with my training in Computer Science. I have since evolved and adapted to the current times and gone digital! It's incredible the immense difference in quality and versatility that digital formats provide coupled with the latest technology.

My work to date includes Wedding Photography, Family Portaits, Corporate Events and some Sports Photography to challenge myself and keep my skills and techniques sharp. I love keeping up to date with the latest tips and hints from the best photographers worldwide and I never stop learning. I believe that if you love your job you never have to work again !
